Early in my life, I learned to ‘surf the waves of my life’ by going within, tapping into and developing my inner resources, and my mental- and emotional- fitness by improving my physical fitness. My earliest influences were my mother and Jack LaLanne. When I did not succeed as a Pre-med. student, I decided to do what I could to keep people healthy and prevent disease. Back in the mid-80s, I knew that exercise, nutrition, and stress reduction were keys to longevity and increased ‘health span’.

I have helped 1,000s of clients across the country, from Hollywood stars to White House staff members, develop healthier lifestyles and improve their fitness.  I helped Alfre Woodard physically prepare to audition to play Tina Turner in What’s Love Got to Do With It?.  I trained members of the White House Staff and the Secret Service from 1990 -1992.   I have helped clients with autoimmune diseases, physical disabilities, and octogenarians.

In 2020, I adapted and reinvented my business once again; transitioning my services and educational programs to online/virtual platforms.  This new way of doing business allows me to reach people all over the world and help exponentially more people.  As an entrepreneur and self-described, ‘one woman show’ I enjoy the creative flexibility I have.  I am the Conscious Energetic Orchestrator (CEO) of my business and movement.  I believe that systemic change starts with individual change, and I am on a mission to empower as many Active Agers as I can with practices to age optimally, to decrease dis-stress/dis-ease, to increase JOY and become confident Life Surfers living with endless possibilities. Life Surfers are stress resistant, resilient, adaptable, holistically healthy and fit.  They are fit to live lives full of choices and freedom well into their 80s and 90s.  “Fitness = Freedom” is one of my mottos.

For the past 40 years, I have continually improved my knowledge and skills.  I have a Masters’s degree in Nutrition Education & Applied Physiology from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in Biology, Psychology, and German from Bucknell University. I am an ACE-Certified Personal Fitness Trainer (specializing in Mind/Body Fitness and Behavior Change), an ACE-Certified Group Fitness Instructor, an E-RYT-500 Yoga Instructor, a licensed and BCTMB-Certified Massage Therapist, and have completed two professional, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction trainings with Jon Kabat Zinn. In 2021, I completed the Inner MBA program, a joint program offered by Sounds True, LinkedIn, and New York University.

I love helping people become more resilient, adaptable, stress-resistant, and fitter via exercise, mindfulness-based stress reduction & relaxation techniques, massage therapy & bodywork, and the 8-limbed yogic path. You can increase your health span and age optimally and actively.  

Empowering Active Agers to take control of their health and well-being is my passion.  

My approach blends Ancient Wisdom to improve holistic health and remedy physical-, mental-, emotional-, and spiritual dis-ease & distress with the application of current advancements in the fields of epigenetics, neuroplasticity, and Quantum Physics and using the information to our advantage regarding aging.
